M53 (NGC 5024), class V, in Coma Berenices

First light of my Artemis Art 4021 CCD camera - many thanks to my friends Liubomir Iliev and Valery Genkov (both of them professional astronomers) for their invaluable help

 

Discovered 1775 by Johann Elert Bode.

Distance 58 000 (ly)
Visual Brightness 7.6 (mag)
Apparent Dimension 13.0'

FOV with my setup was 7 x 7 arcmin , that is why not entire star cluster was captured in this frame.

Luminance (IR cut): 12 x 60 sec (1x1 binning); Total ExposureTime - 12 min (short exposures because of not guiding)
More details:
Dark frames only calibrated. The transparency 5/7 and the seeing 5/10 in that night was not so good.
