Jupiter and Io

This sequence of images was taken on August 29, 2009 between 18:56 and 22:46 UT. The quality is not good because of poor to very poor seeing (3/10 - Pickering) and some incompatibility between DMK 21AF04.AS camera and my laptop Fujitsu Siemens Amilo-Pro. The life view have shown how the images flicker and shrink continuously. Something more, at the rate of 30 fr/sec screen splited up into two parts and in rate of 60 fr/sec into three parts. After some tests I revealed that the system works properly only in rate of 15 fr/sec or less but the night was over...

On the following days in a correspondence between me and Stefan Geissler from ImagisngSource this problem was found as an essential and irreparable bug in Amilo laptops. So my conclusion is to not use Fujitsu Siemens Amilo laptops together with firewire Imagin Source DMK 21AF04.AS.

The next time I will use any other laptop but never Fujitsu Siemens ...
